I think the a1000. It costs more than another pump, but i think its the easiest route. I have the a1000-6, basically the same thing and i'll be using it with the 35psi i plan to run. It should do the job fine as with your setup i'm sure. How much boost are you going to run?

goal is 30psi on gt35r.
I found a local parting his car out. He has a, A1000 pump with 20ft of 8an ss line and a Aeromotive filter for 300 bucks..With 12 or so 1/4 mile passes on it.

i think you will like this . . .
http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=5&topic_id=108507&mode=full

as for your answer
use the in-tank pumps to supply your surge tank and then use an A1000 to feed the rail(s)

the way i made my tank i actually have 3 tank intakes one for the return line from the rails, and two that are for the in-tank pumps.
i use one now but i put the bung on there for future expansion.

this helps in two ways:
A. the in-tank pumps don't have to be high pressure high volume, you can use the cheaper high volume, low pressure Walboro's
B. the A1000 HATE non-sumped fuel setups they have problems with cavitation and sucking fuel UP. so the surge tank puts a nice -10AN line right to the pump and is essentially gravity fed.

if this isn't a dedicated drag car i would highly reccomend the Aeromoive fuel controller so you don't overheat the pump
