#10576, "Straight pipe instead of cat"

Could I remove the cat and replace it with just a straight peace of stainless steel?

Would I get any CEL's for doing so? And how much HP do you think I would gain if any at all.

Mod List:
-NGK BKR5E-11 Plugs
-Magnecore 8.5 Wires
-AEM CAI(thanx to endless73)
-GS-T Muffler
-Upper Front Strut Bar

no more 420A

only 4G63

You can, it's just really illegal emoji
you'll get a cel, cause the 2nd o2 sensor will think the cat is bad. You might gain a few hp points but your torque will surrer. But since you're not running anything major (turbo or nos) you'll probably get nothing out of it, besides a loud exhaust

Port and polish, mill will probably help you see more hp.
It's lik putting a intake on (say a geo maybe +1hp vs. supra +60) the more power your producing the more exhaust gass you will flow, right now you car dosen't produce enough exhaust to benifit from the flow be less restrictive
Somthing like that emoji
