So you know when I say I want this setup to be stealth, I don't mean that I want it to sound like a F117 at a stop sign. I'm considering removing the inline pump.

The flow from a walbro 255 plummits after 70 psi of fuel pressure...

(via vfaq)

If 440s are used, then fuel pressures don't have to rise as quickly as with stock injectors, but still at an approx. 3:1 ratio. So I can come up with a theoretical boost limit to keep fuel pressure under 70-90 psi, but I'd be interested in hearing real-world observations with the setup.

I do not remember exactly what my FP's were 3 years ago, however, I ran 440's, wally in tank 255, and SFMU up to 20psi with good/safe AFR's.

Also ran the 440/SFMU combo for a while. Idle pressure was around 25psi, ran this setup to about 16psi with no problems.

I used radiator paint - specially made for high thermal conductivity. Some people with cash to burn choose to anodize their IC (which is better than paint), but Sport Compact tried the paint route and found no discernible changes in IC efficiency. I'm all for cost effective solutions

I also cut the bumper to enlarge the mouth (always hated that stupid 2" strip of grooves that was on the top), and sawed through the fiberglass behind it to match.

The car is dead right now. She's in the garage with no engine. man I'm tired
