well as some of you may or may not know im in need of a new fmu,the thing is before i get a new 12-1 fmu I happen to have some 310cc injectors so i was thinkin about installing those with a 6-1 fmu and kinda lower pressures,But the thing is is that with the 12-1 fmu/255lph fuel pump/safc2 controller/wideband 02 and stocker injectors i was running a air fuel ratio of around 10.8 and 11.5 so should i just get another 12-1 fmu and keep my setup??? or should I install the 30lb injectors with a 6-1 or so fmu and start the tuning process over. The reason im askin is because i have a feeling the high fuel pressures pre maturley killed my old 12-1 fmu so i was thinkin lower pressure and bigger injectors,Anyway what would you do???

To run larger injectors you need to lower the fuel pressure. You have no way of lowering your using a FMU. You MAY be able to pull enough fuel with the SAFC but I doubt it.

I'd run 10:1, 8:1 at the lowest.
if you've got an SAFC, buy a set of RC 440's and a 3:1 recal disk. They can be made to idle on stock fuel pressures withthe SAFC (at like -48%, LO, 1000RPM )

you expect to take advise from a $7/hr idiot vortech CSR who knows probably nothing on 2gnt's? IMO, if you get another FMU from them, you're hard headed and wasting your $. Either SFMU, my VROG regulator, or stick w/ what you have. do as you wish
