Hey guys, i dont really post much but mostly because i have no reason due to everything being answered, but i figured id ask...

What turbo would you guys recommend for my set up and goals?

Built bottom end (pistons, rods, ect)
Clutchmasters stage 3
Evo 2 cat-back
MPx 60mm TB

My goals are to end up somewhere around 350hp (possibly higher for a non everyday we'll see how it goes) for a somewhat everyday driver, i dont expect to see that immediately with a turbo obviously and i will be going with MS when i do boost it, i also will be using a treadstone manifold to start off untill i have time to design and put one together or someone comes up with a nice tubular manifold they are willing to sell.

I have a few turbo options i mind but want to hear you guys input. Sorry if its long thought id fill you in and thanks in advance..if you have any other questions just ask.

thanks Again

I'll let other's chime in on a turbo, however I would recommend going with MS before you get there. Install it, tune it and tweak it na. By the time you go with the boost, you'll understand what ms can do for you.

How much you are willing to spend emoji

I vote gt30r; max flow capacity is about 500 while the 28rs is around 350 <--- Both great 'candidates' for the streets. Both are t3 witch will give you that quick spool up your looking for.

That is definately a possibility going with the MS before turbo and i am seriously considering that and never really thought of it.....And yeah definately good ideas but possibly a bit out of the price range but i checked out your DSM registry 96Turbogs and your set-up is going to be similar to what im piecing together how do you like the turbo and where did you but it. Thanks guys

I had a tread stone t3 kit then ditched most of it and upgraded the turbo’s and my fuel management. It’s a great turbo for the streets, that’s why I bought it spools up a little faster than a 35r. It starts building boost at 3000 and is at full boost by 4500. I’m aiming for 500, I wonder what 35 psi on this thing is like. Weeee, Just another turbo.

I got it from spooledmotorsports...

If you want high numbers get high hp numbers get a Holset hx50-55 series (if you can handle it), I know there is a nice discussion over on tuners. If you want something with decent spool go with the hx40 series. There for diesel trucks but who gives a shit it’s a turbo. I got a friend with one on his Honduh (popular in the Honda world) and it snaps. These turbos are more pocketbook friendly....

There arnt any compressor maps (witch pisses me off) but they flow a shit ton emoji
