Hey guys, almost done with my turbo install, I just have a question about my wastegate...it hits the hood if I use the top fitting and from what I've searched it seems people say its OK to leave that one open but I want to make sure I'm doing it right Is that the right way? should a stick a bolt in the top to block it off? sorry for stupid question but the wastegate was one of the parts that I didn't really research much into...just got one preset to 6psi and threw it on there

NO do not stick a bolt in the top it will overboost your motor, just leave it off as shown and your ready to rock,...make sure your line on the side of the wastegate goes into the manifold or vacuum source ant thats it

The one on the top is only if you're using a specific kind of MBC. Normally a bleed-off type on your vaccum tap is fine, but some people like to be complicated. And do NOT plug it, or your wastegate will not open enough to do any good.
