A friend from the Rochester DSM club hooked up his laptop and we took some datalogs on the car...
Everything seems to be running nicely, but I got some strange readings. At idle, my throttle is at 12.9% open. At WOT, it is at 74.9% open. Shouldn't this be 100%? Also, the throttle cable is really loose in the engine bay. There is a good 2-3 inches of play between the TPS and the cruise control box. Is this normal? Does the throttle plate adjustment mod have anything to do with this? (I have not done the mod yet).
Other than that, the car is running nicely. The most the timing was retarded was 15 degrees, but was a full 20 degrees for the most part. I was running fairly rich at .94-.96 1st through 2nd gear, but when I hit third gear the O2s fell down to .92-.90 on average. I really need to get a laptop and this software...its amazing what it can do.
