#103841, "Thinking about using e85 on my turbo setup"

I've been spending a lot of time lately reading up on switching to e85 fuel on my setup. I'm going to be using the 8-injector setup for my tuning. My plan is to switch my primary injectors to some higher flow injectors, probably accel 310's? With the larger injectors and a walbro pump, I can just change fuel pressures on my aeromotive fpr to adjust my long term fuel trims so they're not maxed out. So while not in boost, the stock ECU will adjust for the different fuel and add more fuel.

Then comes the boosted part, I'm assuming that tuning with the 8-injector will essentially be the same, except that i'd need more fuel in each box in the map. I'd also have to use lambda reading to tune rather than an AFR reading.

Does anybody see any problems in this setup? I know that using megasquirt with e85 would probably be the best, but to be honest I don't think I'm ready to start messing around with a complete standalone computer. The 8-injector is much easier to deal with for me. If you guys have any thoughts or suggestions on this, please share. Thanks!

Yeah I already read through that thread. I also read through the 10-page thread over at neons.org. However, those threads are mainly talking about subaru's and neons. I was trying to take some of those same ideas and apply it to our 2gnts. I just wanted to make sure I didnt make any mistakes in my thinking... I'd rather not do any harm to my engine you know what I mean?

I would start by just upping the "Injector Scaler". That is if you use the 034 EIC. I'm not sure if the port fueler has something like that...but it seems like it should.
