Never in gods name have I heard of a CEL for low fuel pressure.

To my knowledge I dont even see anything that could trigger a code of that sort.

What code is it and who told you thats what it was?

Hello,

I have my palm pilot using the OBD gauge program on it.. and it reads error code P0171 which is Fuel Trim too lean..but it alternates between this code and Low fuel pressure...at least thats what the program tells me.. the fuel pressure gauge stays constant..any thoughts on whats going on?..component failure somewhere??
Thanks

What code is low fuel pressure? I have never heard of anything. And you mean your fuel pressure gauge stays constant, meaning it holds pressure all the time?

Just because you have a lean code doesnt mean its a fuel pressure issue. Do you have a vacuum leak somewhere?

i had the same problem with my ride too.. same code popped up... im running stock injectors with a sfmu (reason being im planning on buying larger injectors soon) i set my idle fuel pressure w. the vac line to 43psi next day the check engine light came up.. scanner said fuel running to lean.. did some research and found out the fuel pressure is supposed to be 53psi with the vac line hooked up.. I cranked it up reset the ecu and havent had a problem since
