Found this browsing hmt.

Looks good and well-priced.

I'm not selling this, advertising or trying to get cookie points.

Just wanting to let you know you can have a ds-ebc on the cheap.

Dsmer's aren't the richest tuners in the scene 9 times out of 10 so i thought i'd contribute this find.

Goodnight sweetheart...yes its time to go...bum bum bum bum bum...good night sweetheart yes I am one little a$$hole......bum bum bum bum....

That thing looks pretty slick for the price. I might have to try one.

98 GS
Super 17c Turbo, Portfueler, Je pistons, Eagle rods, Etc.

It does.

It's cheaper than a high end mbc.

There is a guy who makes custom rods on hmt. I'm going to see if we can get a 420a thing going on and maybe beg vitara (with a list of people who want pistons) to do a 420a round. The last batch of jdm d15 and d16 rods went on sale for $275 or something like that. He makes these all custom, there just has to be a demand for it.

Terry says "dont nickle and dime". I say, hp per dollar always wins.

Feel free to pm me if anyone is interested.

It looks like it's made from RadioShack parts to begin with, so I don't see why not.

Yeah, I suppose... it'd be nice if some people could buy one, test it out, and post a lil review (for me) tho emoji

I'd rather not be a gineua pig... it'd just sit on a shelf for a bit anyways (not that I don't have plenty of parts on my shelf ready to go in).

Meh... I wouldn't put too much faith in it. Judging by the installation diagrams and the physical packaging, I'd say it's nothing more than a 555 timer, a switch, a potentiometer and a few biasing resistors to make a variable duty cycle PWM generator at roughly 125Hz. Varying the DC on a pneumatic solenoid valve works okay, but it uses no feedback inputs like real boost controllers do (i.e. an on-board MAP sensor à la GReddy, etc.). Without that, or more complex circuitry, it can't compensate for very many conditions. For instance, say you wanted to keep your boost dead set at 18psi: well this probably couldn't do that very accurately. It would need tweaking on an almost daily basis. Furthermore, since there are no control algorithms behind it, it can easily overshoot its mark. The bottom line is that you get what you pay for. I don't want to bash the guy without personally testing the product, but from what I see, it looks like he had a field day with RadioShack parts and is trying to start a business around it.

Thanks for your input!

I was hoping somebody would have something negative to say.

I'll do some more research and see if i can find any success/fail stories.
