#103213, "Tuning with Calmap Gen 6"

OK guys I have a few questions about tuning with the Calmap Gen 6 software. I have searched around and have read over http://www.2gnt.com/www/dino/EMIC.pdf and i own and have read this http://books.google.com/books?id=pEmihb6gkT4C&printsec=frontcover&dq=Tuning+Accel+DFI&sig=vBUMNB687scqBqZdo5BCSNz4O_4 .

What I want to know though is before I go to tune my car with this, what will I need to bring with me? Being this my first time ever bringing any car to a shop to be tuned, I want to make sure I know what to tell the shop I am going to about anything they may need to know going in to tuning it, so if there is anything you guys can help me with that I should beware of about tuning with this, please chime in! I know it is best to run in DOS while tuning, but if there are any other tips you can give, its greatly appreciated emoji emoji

Also, with the Accel DFI, can I hook this up to my buddies laptop and make sure everything still works correctly after I tune?

p.s. How long roughly will the tune take? And finally, realistically, what should I tune to PSI wise? For my mods can be found here (bought from fly1) http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=16&topic_id=99330&mesg_id=99330&page=

jeez.. I haven't messed with a Accel Gen 6 in years.

All I can tell you is that it's going to take a while, use a good wideband, and go slow. i don't remember if there is an easy way to fatten up the entire map above 0psi, but do so, and then work down to where you want it to be (or where it makes the most power). It's a lot safer than starting out too lean and then trying to add fuel between pulls.
