#103067, "FMU useless on 420a????"

Hey guys good nights, greetings from Mexico!

i are registered on the forum dsmmexico.com, and, one user say that the FMU 12:1 is useless on a 420a turbo, he say's that the correct and propertly is FPR 1:1 ????!!!!!

i said that i read on this forum that is FMU 12:1 and walbro 255lph with stock injectors its the fuel system for a custom turbo kit, but he is SURE that be FPR 1:1

here i show them something quote's:

A 420a turbo coming soon guy:
i translate this from spanish to english emoji

Here my list of parts for my custom turbo kit
2.5" ic piping
walbro 255lph
obx fmu 12:1
boost controller
ebay turbo

The reply of the guy of the fpr:
use a regulator 1:1, a 12:1 is useless, on a turboed car you're need a fpr 1:1
buy a safc and injectors, wideband and the fpr 1:1

he said that Hahn turbo kit come with 1:1 Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, WTF!!!!

Link (spanish forum): http://www.dsmmexico.com/forov/showthread.php?t=62

GUYS please help me! i'm shure that i need to use a FMU on my turbo kit, but this guy.... :@ help me, i need close the mouth of this guy.

That guy is dumb. All you need is a 12:1 FMU, Walbro 255lph High Pressure pump and you can use your stock injectors. That fuel system is good for up to 8 psi. If you really want to, you could run a 10:1 FMU and get a bleeder valve for it to fine-tune the amount of fuel so you don't run so rich and strain your fuel pump with the high pressures.

Yeah that guy's retarded. 12:1 fmu is what you want with stock injectors. If you are running the hahn portfueler then you would use a 1:1 fpr, but not on stock injectors, they're too small to only use a 1:1.

Dont help the op fix his car. You run a 12:1.

Let him run a 1:1 and blow up his engine. Link us to pics of the carnage.
