The Franks are nice turbo's, however people have complianed of the longevity of them, as the center cartrdiges are not very strong. It's a Hybrid turbo, a Garrett/mitsu turbo so to speak. It uses parts from both Mitsu turbo's and Garretts. It will bolt up to any 1G, 2G manifold, 4G. They are nice turbo's however the level 2 doesn't get as much praise as the level 3's. I almost had a level 3 Frank but backed out as other opportunities seemed like a far better choice. The Franks were replaced by the FP green and red turbo's. These turbo's are said to have much stronger center carridges, with better spool. Anyways, http://www.teamrip.com Jon carry's all the levels of the Franks still to this date. DSM performance just released there new style mutts which is a full Garrett bolt on turbo with only a mitsu exhuast housing. Garrett cartridge and all. I just purchased one of the level 3's. thanks for the info. i was always in the understanding that a bigger turbo can put out more psi at lower rpms, therefore increasing the amount of reliability at a certain horsepower range. i plan on a rebuild and a clutch, may get a new trans to finish it all off. but yeah i'm goin all the way. i was just curious as to whether or not it would fit between the motor and rad. fans. i figured i could use an exhaust maifold from hahn cause he uses mitsu turbos and the frank has a mitsu turbine housing.
