#102531, "How Much Boost W/O Electronics?"

I was told that once I build the motor I can't go over 17lbs. Just to let you know my future setup... T3/T4 custom kit, SFMU, wideband, EGT, JE and Eagles. The reason I was told around 17 is because they said I would definately have to have timing control, is this true? If so I'll probably just get MSnS. But I wanted to keep it simple and just tune fuel. Any help/suggestions would be nice. Thanks, Mike.

I saw knock at 8 on stock timing. I wouldn't trust much over that safely, extensively

Once you have a built motor, the skys the limit on how much boost you can run. The reason you heard 17 psi was because the SFMU isn't the best solution over that much. MSnS or Portfuelr or the new AEM F/IC would be your choices at those levels.
