i have a 95 eclipse. i keep reading and reading and i cant comprehend how to install this fmu. I have decided i am going to install it in my engine bay. The vac. source is already hooked up to it.I dont understand what i need to do with the fuel lines. I know the return goes to the middle of the fmu and the feed goes on the side of the fmu. When looking in my bay i dont know how i am going to connect the fuel and return to the fmu. I also cant tell which is which. I have seen pictures of it mounted up front but they dont help me because they had a 97-99. My stock fpr is on the rail which is on the right side of the fuel rail (if looking at it front the front of the car)

The feed line is the line that bolts into your fuel rail. the return line is the one that is just clamped on to the tiny barb comming out of the middle of yuor 95 rail. Run a hose from the return nipple on the rail to the inlet of the FMU. The outlet of the FMU goes to the return line on the firewall. be sure you use the correct size worn clamps on the hose from the rail to the FMU. that hose will see 100PSI.

hmmm i see the hoses that you are talking about. so i do nothing with the feed line at all. Just the return? When i run a new hose fromm the return nipple on the fuel rail to the inlet on the fmu, what do i do with the old hose? And for the outlet of the fmu how do i connect a hose from that to the one on the firewall(which i dont know where it is?)

ok please correct me if i am wrong. I have a 95 so i mounted my FMU in the engine bay on the drivers side where the windshield resevoir use to be.The feed line to the fuel rail is not touched at all. I ran a line from the return barb on the fuel rail to the inlet on the FMU.I then ran a line from the outlet on the FMU to the hose that use to connect to the barb on the fuel rail.Then vac. source from intake manifold. Heres a diagram.

just making sure. Im not going to connet at the firewall i am just going to use the stock hose and connect it to the outlet.
