are you serious? hook the nylon hose or whatever it came with to a vacuum source around the intake manifold.

also, i see you are new. try using the SEARCH function. a lot of simple questions will be asked in the future by using that option.

yes he is turbo. I re-built his motor and put the turbo kit on. I was supposed to be helping him install this thing but i am tied up in other projects. I showed him the write up on tuners and all is well and the gauge works fine. I apologize for his E-thuggedness emoji.

Haha, searches don't work when you can't type like an adult. I dont think he would have gotten too many responses to typing like a 14 year old on a cellphone. ne 1 agree?

Damn, ya'll don't give nobody a chance. First post and he is already gettin flack. I thought we were supposed to support each other here, not cut people down? Pull your heads out of your ass and be nice to the guy, at least give him a chance. Everbody's gotta start somewhere.

Like foggy45 posted earlier, I found this faq in like 30 sec on google. http://www.jumptronix.com/2g_go_faster/Faqs/BoostGaugeFAQ.htm
You can usually find what you need if you look hard enough.

BTW- welcome to the community. Hopefully your stay will be a pleasant one.

Here, you either conduct yourself as an educated adult (Save in chat) or you get flamed. This is pretty simple. Also pissing off / giving attitude to those with more than 1000 posts (I.E. the "Big Dogs") is a great way to get yourself banned or laughed off the forum. I agree everyone has to start somewhere; But that doesn't mean typing like a fourteen year old on his dad's cell phone.

That said, welcome to the site; drop a line in the Introduction thread, use complete sentences, and you will find that most of the members will do a hell of a lot to help you out. (Just use the search function first.)

We are. Eboss, its worth a second to proof read what you post and make it as professional as possible. It makes answering question easier. The rest of you can crawl back into your rotting holes for garages and just plain shut up.

Eboss let me introduce you to:

Chris (Djtrickee), he is just a plain dickhead. Get used to his smart ass comments.
Mike Homan (98eclipse....), he is Chris's little "dick" in training. As you can see he is failing class!

I like how Terrry ALWAYS uses my last name every time he mentions me. Makes me feel important sometimes.

Anyways, Carry on...

Edit: I really wasnt trying to be a dickhead. I mean c'mon, if this guy is planning on being turbo or already is, and he cant install a boost gauge, something tells me that this motor will go bye bye.

well, if he blows his engine, then he will have learned the hard way, for some people it is the only way. Hopefully he can avoid that by searching the vast information database that we call home.

Quoted for truth. When you're new and they're addressed at you, they'll seem rather harsh, but when you around for a while and see the same crap over and over, you're glad he's there as the unofficial in charge of telling newbs to get their ass in line if they want to learn from the incredibly knowledgable people on this site. Plus Chris's comments will always make you laugh.

As for Homan, well just look up some of his old threads emoji j/p Mike

Welcome to the site. As suggested, type like an adult and adding something to your post that you found in your search usually helps show people that you did attempt to find your answer first. Do not ask a simple question, find the answer to your simple question, then ask more about it. It really helps show us you are willing to learn and want to learn as much as you can and it's often the time those who know what they're talking about will step up and help out.
