I have a autometer probe now and i cant get the zeitronix crimp connectors on the probe wires . It seems the diameter of the wire is to big and thick therefore i cant get the conn. crimped . has anyone had this problem ? Also has anyone used the tre probe on the zeitronix unit ? Also does anyone know any tricks of making the autometer fit ? btw i tried soldering the connector on but the solder doesnt stick to the probe wires

I think I had an issue with solding the wires to a set of terminals at the gauge if I recall.

I got the TRE connector on mine but i had to strip away the yellow jacket to do so. It was tight but it worked fine.

I would expect the tre probe to work fine with a Zeitronix, email them and ask.
