ok so i have a short intake from an airfilter into my turbo..

one of my friends says if i just hook the filter straight into the turbo ill gain hp??

i was like uhhh....

this true?



Car Status: P0140 o2 circuit number bank 1 sensor 2 Cel. Ill fix it tomorow lol.

Only if the intake pipe is a restriction.

and actually the intake pipe, if it's the right length/diameter, will help by channeling the air into the compressor wheel. It's probably a negligable gain to worry about, but I'd think a short tube would be better than none if you have the room.
