Great now what

Installed my new injectors tonight but they seem to sit really low in the intake manifold.




My old stock ones you could see more of the lower cylinder part of it before it went into the manifold.

Am I screwed?

Do the o-rings seat? Do they seal in the manifold? Do they seal at the fuel rail?

If the answer to all of the above is yes, then you're fine.

Well don't know about the o rings seat thing but they fit snug in the rail and snug in the manifold. They just went down really far and didn't fit as tight as the oem injectors did.
Just wanted to make sure.

I guess I'll know for sure when I turb the fuel pump on.

If your turbo'd, do a boost leak test and you'll know if they are actually sealing up instantly.

If they are not as tight as the factory injectors then no they are not right. I make those rails to fit extremely tight to prevent leaks ect. If they are easily moved around then you may be in for a costly repair!...or new car

Well I tightened everything up really good today, thought I was going to break the injectors. They are now solid and dont move. I slid the injectors in and out one by one in the manifold like they were having intercourse and they seemed to fit pretty good with some resistance and suction when you pull them right out.
My main concern now is do they seat inside the manifold or not?
I'd boost leak test it if I could by my turbo inlet has a flange style setup so I cant stick a silicone adapter on.

I also primed the fuel system to check for leaks and there isn't any.
Would this mean I should be fine inside the manifold or no?

Sounds fine...you can do a boost leak test starting at the TB to make sure they seal up. As long as the fuel rail is sealing, you are safe. If the rail sits too tight for the injectors you can instal a thin washer under the bracket to raise it up slightly. I prefer them tight, not to the point your doing damage to the injectors but just enough to ensure a good seal.

dude, if your not leaking fuel when the pump primes then start it. check again for leaks. listen for hissing on the injector/mani.
