well as you all know allready i wanna go turbo soon, and also rebuild internals. well i was wondering if it would be ok to go turbo first then rebuild a little bit later. i was wondering that because i heard that you dont want metal shavings going threw your turbo but then i also heard that none of the 4g63 guys have ever taken there turbo off after rebuild so why would anybody else. so i need to know what to do. tia

Just leave it on. it's too much trouble to take the whole thing off, (i didn't and i don't know anyone else who has) and the metal fragments we're talking about here are so fine as to be ignoreable.
Our oiling systems also pump through the oil filter before the oil goes anywhere else in the motor. You aren't going to hurt anything by leaving the turbo on.
