i wanna go turbo and was wondering since im going to get the rebuild kit from howell would it be ok to blow the engine (say i over boosted on purpose and engine blew) i can now just do the rebuild right? plz correct me if im wrong. tia

ummm.....thats odd. but i definately wouldn't recommend it because other things can go wrong when you blow the engine. maybe shoot a rod through the engine or the ring dig into the cylinders. and ya wouldn't want them to happpen..especially on purpose. your probably going the same route i'am with the NER 3D so i'd just change them out and sell the stockers or keep them for emergency uses.

I’m sorry... but that is the stupidest thing I have herd.(sorry) Why would you want to do that? Chases are that you would put a rod through your block. There are so many things that you could mess up your engine and instead of paying for the turbo kit and the rebuild kit you would have to pay for probably a new block (which are hard to come by) Save your self the trouble and the money. Pull the engine out rebuild it w/ the kit, then put the turbo on. That way you can boost higher and not have to worry about a blown engine
