I have been searching the 2gnt website for this but i cant seem to find an answer...can you run the stock exhaust and downpipe on a turbo setup boosting no more then 7psi?...if so could u just get a tip welded on the stock pipe and will that be good enough??? if it was already answered im sorry for the post but i just couldn't seem to find it...thank you very much guys

You can, infact the HRC kit requires you cut the stock downpipe and a partial DP comes with the kit which clamps to the stock one where you cut it. If you aren't going HRC, you will need a custom downpipe. Also, if you check HRC's site, they mention that for the stage I kit an exhaust is recommended but not necessary. I ran mine for about a year with the stock exhaust. I did notice high egt's near the end of a long pull though which was helped out by an exhaust. I also gained a quicker spool up.
Short answer yes, but it's better to have an exhaust b/c the stocker is very restrictive.
