#100669, "SFMU Problems!!!!"

Ok so my problem is this. I have a turboed 98 eclipse RS-T with a s16g turbo. I recently just installed a Vortech SFMU and braided lines. It runs smoothly and everything but my fuel pressure gauge reads around 19psi at idle and static. I can't change the static to anything higher than like 30, i got it there once but have since lost it due to fiddling with it. I do not know if i just don't know how to tune with it or if its something else. I have a Walboro 255l fuel pump. a braided line from sfmu to return in tank. fuel line hose from supply to filter to stock line. (The filter is for a carb, its all i could find). And a braided line from test port on rail to sfmu. The fuel pressure sender is teed off the line from the rail. Because the tee uses a flared fitting and the sender is not i had to ghetto rig it with 3 home depot fittings to make it work. I have stock injectors too. O, and even though the guage reads 20 i can smell the exhaust and its running pretty rich. also when i punch the throttle or go WOT it boggs like crazy.

I think it could be:
O2 sensor gone bad
the filter is not working right or backwards
the injectors are bad
SFMU is bad
Guage is bad

Please help me out and give me some suggestions.

i would start by removing the fuel filter.
