i previosly posted but it never showed. i read that some peps. in the past tried the itc but with a datalogger, it showed no change in timing. did anyone check timing with a light? i think the datalogger would be getting a false reading from the ecu cause the unit lies to the ecu. what do you guys think?

I've never heard of it at all. I'm on here and at least two other major DSM forums a good six days a week for the last three years and I have no idea what that thing is. Nobody I know has mentioned it in conversation and nobody I know has it on their car.
I think it's safe to say you don't have to worry about it.

Apexi S-ITC. No it doesn't work. First of all the car will only start on a couple of settings. And no it makes no change on the timing. I spent 2 weeks with it. Nothing.

did you actually use a timing light to verify? the thread i found mentioned only a datalogger. and if it don't change the timing, how does the ecu know when to spark if the sensors are lying?

It does not work. Period. I was there and helping T while he tried to get the ITC to work.
It has no idea how the 420A crank trigger works, whereas the cars is was made for use systems it can understand and fool. Timing equipment tends to be very platform specific (trigger wheel patterns, hall effect or VR sensor, different patterns for cam signal, etc) whereas something like an SAFC can still work because MAP or MAF configurations are fairly generic.
