Where do I lead my vaccum line for my boost guage to the inside of my car? Also for the air/fuel guage I used the power wire on the cigerette lighter and it only works when i turn the lights on. where else can I hook it up to so that it will turn on when I turn the car on?

I routed my vacuum line for the boost gauge through the passenger firewall opening and connected it to the intake manifold easily.
You probably tapped into the wrong wire for the air/fuel gauge. Take a multimeter to the other ones to find out which one has the constant 12v signal when the key is in the "ON" position. I forgot which color wire it was so either try that or someone will chime in here with the right color.

i went through the steering boot in the drivers footwell. pretty much all my harnesses go through there.

I also went through here for my boost gauge, worked well.
As for the wiring, I agree with totaleclipse, you probably just hooked up to the wrong wire (the one for the light that lights up the ring around the cig lighter when your lights are on) I know I have something wired to my cigarette lighter and it always comes on. Another thing you can look into is getting a turbo timer harness and splicing into the power for that so you don't have to cut any stock wires. I did that for my wideband, and am planning on doing it this week to put the wideband in my Evo.
