why does that little filter on the side of the missing link keep blowing off...does anyone have this problem with the synapse missing link...do i need it...cause i'm getting irritated with it falling off...

Yes you need it or else it causes a vac leak. Thats why I ditched that damn thing, its a pain in the ass. I can make you a FCD to fix this problem if you would like for only 25 bucks shipped.

I agree with Mike, I have never had any experience with a Missing link, but I have a FCD and they work perfect and I will never have to try one out because of it.

My older ML worked great, but it was the Pre-Filter design.

It's just a poor design. It's suppose to control the pressure bleed, which, in theory, is what prevents the MAP sensor from registering boost.

FCDs are by far more reliable. Quality FCDs will outlast the car and never need adjusting.
