This should be a cool thread. Everyone, chip in what your favorite color is on a car. I am hoping to see some pictures too, not just...I like candy apple red. Lets see some pics that you guys and girls have saved on your computer. I am looking for idea's for next year. I really like light or dark color blues. If you know what paint it is on the car you like, state it!

Mike with how much you like to change the color of your car, I think you need to go all vinyl like they do in Nascar. Only takes 'em a couple hours for each entire change.

BTW, I really think the color your car is now is pretty cool. It stands out and is bright without being annoying or girly.

Although if you want to tone down the sparkle, and stick with the blue, I've always been a fan of Laguna Seca Blue

As far as other stock colors go, although I hate mustangs, I liked the colors they offered in the 99+ models, another nice blue (azure blue)...

Only reason I am changing the color again for the last and final time is because I am re-doing some cosmetic body work to it. Changing some things on the body and front bumper and rear bumper so it all flows together now. I am planning on doing HOK Pearl Black on top, its a super dark black that is amazing, and the same color on the bottom. This time I think I am going to do a silver base coat though to make the blue a little darker, and NO flake at all. When I used all the flake last time, I went a little crazy, but thats because I wanted the car to REALLY stand out, and I must admit, it did stand out from the others, lol. Some liked it and some didnt. I now, do not. haha.

My old Talon was kind of a Candy Apple Red / Metallic Red

I LOVE these shades of blue. Hopefully I can afford to change my Spyder from red to one of these for next season.

pfft to the blue, except maybe Subaru WR (world rally) blue mica (think WRC car blue)

I like dark greens myself, HOK candy organic green over a dark silver/anthracite base. maybe a good old BRG (british racing green)

That is kind of the shade I want mine now. I think If I use a silver, or even a black base coat, it would turn out darker like that.

Kona Blue Pearl. Like Corey said, it was only offered for the GS and RS packages during the 95 model year for the Eclipse. I believe that it was offered for the Talon until production was halted.

Every color gets completely sanded down to the primer that was laid before color. I sand the car completely down and then block sand it again.

I am a huge fan of red. Although my color is a little brighter than stock, I think it gives the car a real sporty look.

My FAVORITE color has to be "Northstar White" which happens to be the color of my eclipse. I beleive that it is still the color of white used on newer eclipses today. My second favorite color would definately be black.

may i ask whats wrong with flashy/show offy? i think the color is nice..like a tealish

clean is koo, and i guess thats the new trend..but i believe its all in the artist point of view.

I like Candy Apple red without metallic in the silver base coat. I want to forget its a car and take a bite out a the spoiler. I like candy " lolipop" BLue too, its a prety Deep blue. Yes I wish I could have my whole car that what but I cant afford Candy Apple Red so I went with W26 Frost white and I will Paint everything I can Kandy red over time LOL

i heard that a silver base coat with a few layers of a silver or platinum pearl on top with a dash of blue flake pearl mixed in with the clear coat gives off one hell of a look.
