I've been looking to either spray paint my fog light yellow or buy yellow fog light covers, but the "right" spray paint is 35 bucks! F that and the covers are...i have no idea but im pretty sure they more. I've also looked at the yellow light bulbs but they're also almost 40 bucks.

Anyone got an easy way to do this?
Tips?

Thanks.

You could always get that yellow clear mask and cover the lamps that way, I think it's a little spendy but if it gets beaten to crap you can always peel it off and put on some fresh

Grind two parallel sides of the screwheads flat, then use some pliers/cresent wrench? When this happens to me with phillips (The screws you need the x shaped screw drivers for) I use a torx screw driver (the ones thst look like asterix) to get them out. I think EZ has also suggested putting some tin/aluminum foil between the screw and screwdriver.

Ok so i cant find a grinder to do what you told me to do ^ but ive been trying to take off the whole fog light and there is one screw that just keeps turning and i only have so much room to work with..i can only turn it like 1/2 an inch at a time. Its the screw right above the fog light..anyone know how long that thing is!??

and all i wanted to do was change the stock fog blub to the yellow one i bought..i thought this would take 5 mins and now its taken way to long..

Shouldn't be that long, about an inch maybe. It's not stripped out is it?

It might be stripped then, try wedging a screwdriver or something behind the bracket and gently put pressure on it while unscrewing it.

Well I still couldn't get the fog light off so I just let it be for a while but now im starting to see other cars with yellow fog lights on so now I want them on AGAIN.

Does anyone know the RIGHT way to get the fog lights off?

Would taking off the bumper help?

Thanks again for the help.
