Hey i need help.. i got a 98 rs and im doing 99 conversion. i got 99 gsx rims five point star.. and they fit but the front tires make a a weird noise..mainly when im trying to go faster like if they'r flat.. do i need to mod anything to fit these wheels/tires.. note: i had 14" now these are 16".. .thanks

you'r probably not used to the noise that the stiffer sidewall on lower profile tires transfers to the chassis, factory wheels with factory backspacing shouldn't require any spacers or anything else

Maybe the tires are Chopped or Cupped.

Nah, caliper issues would be if you were trying to put the 14's on a gsx, that wouldn't fit.

idk...cause with my venge i had stock 14" and i just got some gsx rims and through them one there and they were fine....and im slammed 3 inches....

maybe the tires are bad, or your lugnuts arent tight..

did you have them balanced before you put them on? Are your lugs nice and tight?

GSX wheels are 17" btw, you have a set of GS/GST wheels.

try rebalancing/rotate them, might take out some noise

Edit: double check your pressure too, too low or high can make funny noises

when i dropped mine 2" and put on my 17's i had some whirring noise. after a week of it not getting better i had an alighnment done on my car and it fixed the noise. did you get yours alighned?
