My buddy has a BC2 body kit on his Talon and he wants to do something different with his hood, but he doesnt want a cf one. I thought it might look cool to cut out the factory hump in the hood, put it in the middle lower section of the hood sideways and cut open a vent in it like what Corbin did almost with his hood. I was just wondering if anyone had a front shot of their car, if they could some how photoshop the factory hump thing sideways on the lower middle'ish part of the hood. Probably wouldnt look right, but we are trying to come up with some unique for him.

if I'm thinking what you're describing,
Erik P. Official 2GNT thread Hijacker Some say that he's driven over more Covenant than he's shot, and that his grenades aren't where you'd expect them to be... All we know is, He's not The Stig... But he is The Stig's Spartan cousin!

Do a cut out in the hood Ala grey forest, but choose some different holes to cut out? (look at the hood from the bottom.

Haha. Tell him to get a carbon fiber hood anyway.
Think of it as weight reduction.
Plus, you can paint them.
Personally, i'd install a vent in the front of the hump so a short ram intake can benifit from that and maybe install a vent to get some cooler air on the header. Functional and i think it'd look cool. That's just my 2 cents...

If you want to cut the hood I would check what out jtmcinder on dsmtuners.com did. His hood vent is centered over a low pressure area on the front of the car. So it effectively move heat from the engine bay over the car.

Anyway, Mike, just get a CF hood close to his color and spray Kandy over it. Lild14 has his done like that and it looks sick.
