I'm only posting this lame thread b/c I'm *editing* out a post that was supposed to go in the handling/suspension forum. So the only thing I could think of relevant to the int/ext forum at this time was: those annoying tint marks that appear on the drivers and passenger windows. blah, maybe it'll help someone someday.

It is caused by a little tan plastic thing on a metal bracket inside the door - it's used to stabilize the window when it's closed. It's fuzzy-wuzzy on the side that makes contact with the window. Over time it gets caked with dirt, and then it becomes great for scratching your tint job. The window is still stable without it, so it can be removed without issue. Here's how to do it-

Remove plastic door panel by unscrewing single screw on plastic next to door handle, and slide that plastic FORWARD (towards front of the car). Then unscrew the single screw in the small recessed bucket used to hold on to when you close the door. Take out all other screws around the periphery of the door. For manual windows, push the plastic around the crank down, so you can get at the metal pin holding the crank on. Pin is easily removed with small needle nosed pliers. The plastic door cover comes off easily now.

Take out the speaker (4 screws), and if you reach up through that speaker hole, you'll feel a plastic tab. It pops off easily (don't bend the metal frame holding the window!!!) I have a pic I'm trying to post of it, but photobucket isn't loading for me right now.

So there ya' go

Window might be stable but will rattle to the point where you'll want to rip your hair out.

Trust me, i'm missing mine on the drivers side door.
