#98794, "remove/install for front bumper turn signals"

I bought some front clear side markers (the ones on the bumper not in the headlights) and need to install them but it looks like i have to unbolt a couple things by the wheel well. Im not even sure if thats where im supposed to start. But im asking if someone can explain how to take off the OEM ones and install the new ones. I did a search on it but didnt find my answer. It doesnt seem hard at all.

But thanks for taking the time to explain in advance.
Thanks!

You don't need to unbolt anything at all. All you have to do is get a flathead screwdriver and put it into the inner corner of each light and pop it out. You can put a rag against the corner where your going to apply pressure so that the screwdriver won't mess up the paint on your bumper. Be careful popping them back in. Don't apply to much pressure or you'll snap the little tab that holds the light in place.

You can also look behind the splash guard in the wheel well to see the clip everyone's talking about. There's a plastic clip on one end and the other end has that metal spring clip tab thingy. You're going to be depressing the metal tab enough that the other end an slip past the edge of the hole.

It's not a big deal, but if you're in a hurry, you'll munch it. emoji

Not rocket science, but if you've never done it before it can be. Where you clip it in at, towards the rear there should be a little slotted place. If you look on your sidemarker you should see that a part of your sidemarker will snag that place. You put your sidemarker on with that part done first, then push the front side of it in.

You can buy some of any color you want. I prefer the amber with the silver coating with clears though. They will look silver when unlit and amber when lit.

I don't even use a tool to get mine off. I just shift the light far enough towards the metal spring clip thing and it pops out from the other side. Reverse order to put it back on.

Listen, to the guy that told you about the flat-head screw driver. He's right But, make sure its a tiny one for eye-glasses.

I'm guessing your Eclipse is black right. Thats an 1st easy-simple exterior mod. Or you paint Oem's black to match your car, your Headlights have turnsignals anyway.

The first thing,I did when I brought my Eclipse home was I debadged her, by using a GOO-GONE kit. and the center taillight piece.
Second:
Well, since I wear glasses anyway I used my tiny flat screw driver and I sled it in the corner of the side marker, and it pops out. Since, My 97 Eclipse is white I painted my side marker white its an High Temp paint for engines and then I sprayed a clearcoat over for protection. I did the same for my fog light brezels and bumper inserts.

Look at my Avatar picture, this is how it turned out.

" The thing laugh the most, since I debadge my DSM. Some peeps would ask me, is that an Integra, what is it " lmao, what a dumbass
