To those who have projector head lamps, I know most of you guys have bought yours off of ebay...I need to know which ones fit good and actually project correctly onto the road. The past 2 seats I bought have either pointed down too far or up into the tree's and do not adjust corectly.
Just looking to see which ones you guys are sportin...!

I had a pair of projectors on the eclipse and light output wasn't really good at all even with some Silverstar bulbs. IMO, the stock headlights produce the best light patterns behind HID-retrofitted ones. I modified some 9005 headlight bulbs to use with my 9006 low-beams on my stock headlights and the light output is pretty darn good.

agree with the above. i tried a bunch of bulbs in my projectors and were all ho hum (short of H3 based ds2 HID bulbs) so i saved my stockers for my retrofit project.
if you just want to pay and be done with it or need true custome ones check these guys out. http://www.customlightz.com/

i have the ebay projectors, they work ok, PITA to aim right. i'm thinking of pulling AzDaves trick and modding them with some used bmw hid projectors http://www.rcaz.com/default_automotive.htm

Lol, it's not a "trick". It's called a retrofit and if it's a PITA just to aim them right, you might not even want to try to tackle a HID project.

I had projectors almost six years ago. They sucked BALLS. Light output was very weak. Didn't matter if I had Wal-Mart brand, Silverstars, Raybrig or PIAA bulbs in them - the light sucked AND the bulbs seemed to live very short lives. You shouldn't burn through three sets of bulbs in a year's time.
I traded them with a guy in Florida for his stockers. Daisy's still got the stockers today, but the guy installed the projectors and was t-boned by some chick in a minivan, totalling his Eclipse. See? Even God hates them unless you do a retrofit.
Do the retrofit, Mike. You've got the skills. Think of it as a project you can do sitting at the bench with a cold one for a change.

Just a PITA cause they are so far off from anything proper and the light patern prevents you from aiming with a wall infront of you, I ended up sitting in a dark parking lot and aiming them where I liked them, light spread isn't bad IMO i've had better and i've had worse. Another set I had a few years back were horrible, like someone forgot to remove the scratch coating on the back of the lense when assembling it
