ok so is there anyway to wire up the foglight on/off button to work without the headlights being on? in easy terms i want to put my fog lights on without haveing the headlights on...how can i do it thanks

Do you want it to come on with the ambers? That seems to be the favorite/sexy look.

Use a test light and see which wire in your fog light switch gets power when the headlights are on. Cut and rewire the end from the switch to an unused acc. terminal in your fusebox.

Yup. I just did mine tonight. Thanks for the link. Now I have fog lights that come on with the parking lights, and made them so they stay on when the brights come on. Sweet!

Oh, also windows that don't require the key.

careful where you're drawing power from. there's only one fat constant 12v wire in the steering column. otherwise you should be running a new power wire from the battery. most've the wires under the dash are pretty thin and not made to handle much extra current. if you're running a lot of additional accesories it's best to run a new wire rather than tapping off of other ones. car fires are not fun. neither is diagnosing shorts.
