I have 1 12" 12v lcd, and 2 little 2v lcds. I bought a switch, wired the power to the battery with an inline fuse, bolted the negative to a ground that works for my radio and wired the 12v lcd to the load. And it worked. But when i wired up the 2 2v lcd's they didnt work. They have the same ground spot as the 12v lcd, on the same switch, and i had resistors wird in them. I had wired 2 470k and 2 270k resistors for each lcd(so that i could fine tune the brightness a little more). They didnt work so i took off one resitor and so on. I'm down to one resistor on the wire and they still don't work. Any ideas?? TIA (sorry for the long post)

*Edit* How many amps are the 2v lcd's rated at? You said you were down to one resistor, so... 1- 470k resistor will give you 2.5 amps 1- 270k resistor will give you 4.4 amps

Lol yea i meant led's(sorry i was just reading up on lcds) So i need a 33o ohm 1/2 resistor. Another question, say make sure the polarity is correct, do you mean on the resistor? If so, how should i wire them in? Points to you, mcgyvr.

Good news boys, i got my led's working! They aren't the brightest in the world but i'll just get 2 more. Another question though, how do you figure out how many ohms a resistor needs to be for something? Is there an equation or something?
