do the turbo talons have the 4g63? that is a mitsubishi motor isnt it? the 1gens have the 4g63 too dont they? if so, do they get crankwalk?

yes both 1stand 2nd gen are the 4g63 but there is a little difference in the engines. Haven't heard too much of crankwalk in the first gens. And yes the talon and eclipse are the same also the turbo laser adn gr4 have the same engine

Most of the 1G 4G63 cars have 6-bolt motors in them. Only the later 94 and all 2G cars have the 7-bolt "crankwalk" motor in them.

There have been stories of the 1G motor developing crankwalk, but those will be few and far between. You can also put a 1G motor into a 2G car.

What exactly is "crankwalk"?

crank walk means that the bearings in the cranks have play... meaning the crank over time can "walk" around and cause headaches, hemorraging, and yes pms tia
