hey im thinking about painting the rims black with a polished lip.
What do you guys think?

If anyone has pics of them as black with polished lip can you post it?

dont paint it...powdercoat it paint will chip way too easy with little rocks off the road.

I have painted mine, and have had no problems with Chips from Rocks and such, HOWEVER if you do paint them you will have to polish them alot (brake dust kinda Dulls the clear coat)

I didnt even think about clear coat....but I still think powdercoat would be better..its usually not to expensive...if you lived in OK I'd powdercoat them for the price of the coating...usually around $20 for a pound and 1.5oz will cover about 7 sq feet

Thank you, i was thinking of painting them black when i repaint the car here in a few weeks. Oil pump first, then comes all the fun of doing body work.
