dang its been a while since I have lurked here....but I'm looking into swapping out my stock, foggy, nasty headlamps for a set of ANZO projectors (found them on NOPI for $208) and an HID kit...and I have a few questions:
1. how is the quality of the ANZO units? 2. how is the light pattern? (cut off, throw, etc.) 3. how is the quality of the McCulloch kits compared to the Hella kits? 4. does anybody have pics of the ANZOs installed?
if anybody could help me out it is seriously appreciated...I have searched and only found one thread on these that wasn't very helpful...

ok...one more ?
do you guys think I should go with the chrome or black ones?
heres some pics to see/for the hell of it: (the bright red speakers are gone, blinky a/f is just to fill in space, and all the panels are now on) (front bumper has been touched up, however, still lacks pass. side marker)

Dang dude. Lower that car first and then worry about the headlights. I wouldn't even swap out the headlights. Do a search for the write-up on fixing foggy headlights. And then add the HID's to the stock headlights.

Or if you decide to get rid of the headlights, sell em to me

I'm lowering it in the next month or so with the prokit/illuminas combo...and I need the lights because I'm sick of blowing silverstars and they're not that great after driving a car with 4300ks/they would be nice for work.....

Back on topic, are those 16" wheels with 55 series tires on them? I need to know. My Talon has been slammed on Sportlines for so long, now, that I'm thinking about putting her back on stock springs, but holy damn! If that's how high-wheelin' she's gonna look, I might reconsider.
I would suggest shopping Ebay for a set of nice, used projector headlights, and invest the bulk of your funds into canned goods, er, I mean quality HIDs. You're going to be taking the light assembly apart somewhat during install, so if you can save a couple bucks by putting in some elbow grease to polish up a set of lights, you can get a longer lasting HID system.
Check out azdave's site, rcaz.com, for some pictures of his install when he retrofitted some Audi projectors into some Ebay lights with HIDs.
