Sand it down, using rough sand paper and work your way up to Finer grit sand paper. When it's smooth enough for you, use a metal polish, or a fine cut cleaner then polish it, with a buffing wheel if you are so inclined to have one.

Okay I started to polish a compressor housing for a turbo and I started with 80 grit and got the finish from the turbo down smooth, but my question now is, how and the hell do I get the inner part of the compressor housing smooth? I used a sander and some hand sanding for the part thats smooth now, but there is no way for me to get the inner part of the housing smooth now... any idea's what I need to use or some helpful hints?
Here it is smooth from 80 grit http://imageshack.us>
and now how do I sand in these spots? they are so tiny to get in too ya know, not much room to work with???? http://imageshack.us>

Probably not, I came across the same trouble with my intake manifold. It's pretty impossible to get at tight spaces. I used a few stones, but you're not going to get it that smooth. Actually you can probably try the sanding bits for the dremels. I think they actually worked better than the grinding stones. Not sure if you know which ones I'm referring to so I'll get a pic in a minute
