i had an idea a few years ago when flippin throught a issue of import turner. i saw a kit for sedans/coupes to make a flip flop trunk lid, was wondering if the same could be done for our hatches. i know the stock hinges wont work, and the shocks for the hatch would have to be relocated. thought of this while putting a tsi hatch on my esi. we covered the roof w/ a blanket and set the hatch on top while we had a lunch break i came outside looked at the car and thought it would be a sick look for any kar w/ a hatch just cant figure out a practical/clean way to pull it off.

Ok, first of all, education is a great thing. Use it.

Secondly, this idea is so ridiculously dumb. Why would you want to flip flop a heavy hatch? You'd need major support for it, like airplane hinges.

I really hope you're not serious though.
