easy, I just rushed and forgot to mark where they "droop" to

as long as you mark where you remove them and put them back where they were; you wont have any accuracy (sp?) problems

I know where my car idles, so thats an easy fix and I can be a little off on the tach; cause Im ATX

Having a friend roll besides you going 10 with your windows down is a pretty fast and mostly accurate way to set your speedo

you need to remove the orange from the stock needles and the instructions suggest paiting the bottoms white. I didnt paint them I just used high grit sand paper and left the bottoms a lil scuffed.

theres a link to their site, they cost $70
I got them from the buy/sell forum for $50 or $60 shipped I think

cool. i did the led conversion to my cluster but never got around to sanding the needles. as a result i can barely see my needles at nite. lol i guess i should go do that.

anyone know how the kit compares with just changing your bulbs?

Little advice on calibrating the gauges. Keep the clear plastic cover off and go for a drive. To set the MPH correctly turn on your cruise control and start strolling speeding up slowly. Keep flicking your switch until cruise turns on the second it catchs then you are cruising at 25MPH. As for your RPMS you just need to estimate where the car use to idle. Do a hard pull down the road and see if the needle stops at redline, if it does then you know its good to go. Temp, and Gas gauges are really easy as I am sure you figured that out.

GReddy gauges dont use bulbs; they are electro-illumenesence or whatever it called.

all the kit is , is 3 small SMT LEDs on a round sticker for the big needles and 1 SMT LED for the small needles.about $9 in parts but Id assume the high cost is for the research, packaging, advertising, garuntees, etc

Ive never ran with the plastic cover on always hated the glare and stuff, and thats a great idea with the cruise control, I'll give it a shot and like I said ATXs dont need accurate tachs lol
