Finally lowered my car after about two and a half years. I debated slamming it, but decided a moderate drop was a better choice.

Dropped on Ground Control coilovers with Koni yellow adjustable struts I got for a killer deal... emoji

more pics tomorrow when I actually spent some serious time washing the car, armor all and all that, clear up my foggy headlight... and put my center caps on. Maybe I'll fix that fucking side trim too.

It rides great, actually! I was really surprised. With the shocks set all the way soft it is noticeably firmer the stock, and with them set all the way up its insane, the car is flat as a board at all times. Much more confidence inspiring in the corners

All around this mod gets a 10/10 from me emoji

So those are coilovers??? Crazy. Because to tell you the truth, it looks the same height as your sig pic. But then again, I could just be used to your sig pic. I have always subscribed to the philosophy that coilovers and not true "coilover shock systems" would always result in a bumpier and less-refined ride.

How far have you lowered it?

Are they new? Any sag? Chatter &/or wobble at high speed?

It does look good though... Go lower and take pics... then raise it back up to go to work and all...

i had my dd slamed with coilovers and struts, and it rode decent, a little rough on bumps but no road noise or irregular bumpieness just a little louder over bumps.

I will disclose a guilty secret, my sig pics have always been p-shopped lower!! emoji

The ride is not quite as good as stock. Its stiffer, and crappy pavement transitions from fresh pavement to the stuff where they've raked off the top really kick the car's ass, and mine, but other then that it is totally bearable. With it up all the way it is not so comfortable at all, feels kind of bouncy, but it is relatively easy to adjust.

I think the lowering ended up being 1 1/2" up front probably 1 1/4" in the back. It'll settle lower, and one side is slightly lower then the other one right now, I still have to line up it up how I like it before getting it aligned. I'll probably lower it a bit more in the front.

They were brand new, the guy didn't use them at all, he sold them to get Tein full coilovers. Didn't notice any chattering or wobbling but I only took it to 70ish mph, I want to align it before really pushing it hard.. it doesn't track straight in some situations as is, the camber on the front driver's side is noticeably way worse then it is at all the other corners.

edit: here's how it actually sat before

Wow. You've been living a lie this whole time.

Congrats on the lowering. I will hopefully be putting in my tokico kit next weekend. Those pirates are taking forever to ship though.

Even though your sig was photoshopped, it still looks like stock height to me. Slam that bitch.
