I thought there was something missing from the gas lid when i hit the lever to open the gas door, but it still wouldn't open. So it's a two person job. When i had to put gas in it i didn't have a second hand so i had to break the tab off. Well now i have a new latch for the door but can't install it till i get a spring. anyone know where to get it?? thanks for the help

I heard the dealership sells it cheap, but you can also fab one up for yourself with an ordinary clothespin (I went this route). Good instructions here:

I am happy with it and it works great. btw you didn't have to break the tab off to open the fuel door when you were without someone to help. Just jam a rag under the lever...
