I couldn't resist. I sent him an email with a link to azdave's site. Suggested he reconsider his "No other eclipse in the entire world will have these tail lights unless they copied me" comment, since he obviously tried to copy azdave. LOL

We'll see...

Man those are nice. If I had an Eclipse rear end, I would totally sport that.

Thanks for looking out for me guys.

Actually, he doesn't claim to have the only full LED Eclipse tails in the world, just that he has the only set like that (split with top red/ bottom orange.

We've emailed a few times when he first posted the project (on tooners I believe it was). Not bad work. He was creative doing the red/orange split with the clear lenses. He used pre-made LED strips from ebay and just hooked them all up in rows. I have a few of those LED strips from the same vendor for testing. They aren't bad for the money and he said used 108 LEDs per side. I used 828 that have nearly double the lumens output so I'm still the king. emoji

I am always suspicious of photos of any LED lights as it's easy for the camera to make things look much different than in the real world. Especially with pics taken at night. I would like to see them during the day. I think he's done a nice job but I'll be watching to see if they sell or not. Just a set of clear lights can be expensive if you ever find them since they aren't made anymore.

I think Warner should get them. Then az2gnt would have the market cornered on LED tails. Can't wait to get mine in. Of course, that will mean I'll have to wash this pig and fix a couple dents, but still they will be nice to have. emoji

haha.. I was actually considering it, then I came to the realization that I have already switched my tail lights three times and its probably time to focus on another part of my car.
