#93944, "screen install?"

i'm kinda running low on options right now. i have a 7 inch tft screen, and want a place to mount it. i was originally thinking of relocating the headunit somewhere else and putting the screen in the double din spot, but i've ruled that out. with that said, i'd like something streamlined. any ideas?

to elaborate a little more, the entire dash is fiberglassed and painted, so i'm looking for the least intrusive way possible? i don't even know at this point if i'm going to use the screen, i might just sell it and get an in dash.

if the screen is thin enough you can take apart your sunvisor and mount it in there (pass. side) or you can just mount it where your pass. side air bag is.

I used to have one in my visor. The 7" might be too big though.

here is the DVD set up I used to have:

I just super glued L brackets to the back fo the screen, ran the wiring under the vents/behind the climate controls

here is what I have now:

7" screen that pops out from the dash.

this belongs in the Audio/Alarms/AV section BTW

I have an in dash Clarion 7" touch screen unit which I love. It is expensive, but it really is high quality. It has a bunch of inputs (one for an IPOD as well so you can control it on the screen) and is easy to use. Even has a detachable face plate. I'm working on hooking my laptop to it...
