I'm planning on purchasing the pre-painted ebay bumper from this seller:
pershingautobodyparts03. Heres the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-PAINTED-FRONT-BUMPER-COVER-97-99-MITSUBISHI-ECLIPSE_W0QQitemZ8059818384QQcategoryZ33640QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Does anybody have any experiences with this seller? Ive heard several people on this board who have bought pre-painted bumpers on ebay and turned out pretty well. But I dont think it was this seller who was providing the services. Any input on this would be great, thank you

instead of asking us, just read the guys feedback. Looks like he has slow shipping and bad communication with some buyers, other than that quality seems to be good.

If it was me I'd go through his past auctions and find someone who has bought one from him, use the contact member feature eBay has and ask them about it, most people are happy to help you out or warn you off.

I'd say it depends on the color of your car. For example mine, a52 minden silver is a bitch to match unless you actually have the car there to get the shade right due to fading and whatnot. If it's not matched right the part painted will stick out like a sore thmb.

Don't work for the system, Let the system work for you.

My friend bought a fender from them last year- Took over a month to get to him, and they sent him the wrong side! He then emailed and complained and they sent him the right one, I dont think it took long to get the right one (don't remember). However, they never ended up sending a calltag to pick up the wrong one- so he sold it and basically got a free fender- but wasnt worth it for the aggrevation and wait...
