Like the title says, and what size tires am i looking at? I dont have a clue about tires so any help would be awesome... but i just want to know if those rims would be too big on the eclipse, i have 16's right now.

Thanks guys

P.S. The car is NOT dropped and i dont have any plans to do so in the near future...

You should be fine at stock height with up to about a 235/40/18. Any bigger and you might rub on corners. Lower your car and you will need to go down to a 225/40/18 or even a 215/40/18 depending on the offset of the rims.

When i searched it said the bolt pattern was 5 x 114.3mm or 4.5inches....

The rims i want are 5 x 100mm/4.5inches..... will they still fit?

I run 19x8.5" rims with 225/35 tires...I'm lowered on H&R Sport Springs.. The rims have a slightly odd offset that sets them out just a tad..so I think that helps... Ive rubbed a few times, but nothing worth worryin about.. but it's close.

i had 245/40/18 tires on my 18x8 rims, 0 rubbing, car was not lowered. now i lowered it and i have 225/35/18 tires on those same wheels, 0 problems

I just wish my car was as fast as it was loud. people tell me i should use my sub to push it, it might go faster.

all wrong. they'll bolt up. 5 x 4.5 = 5 x 114.3 = our bolt pattern. if the wheels are 5 x 100/4.5 that means they have 10 holes; 5 for 5 x 114.3, 5 for 5 x 100
