Grind off the paint around the holes, beat them in a bit with a hammer, fill them with bondo, then have it repainted...

OR... do it the right way and have them welded up, ground down, bondo'ed then painted over.

awe, i was hoping it'd be easiar than that... How much do you think a shop would charge to prep, fill the holes, and repaint?

I really doubt it would be a whole lot. It's not that much work if you have the stuff to do it with.

300 sounds reasonable, but for just those holes I wouldn't pay much more than that, I could do it myself for much cheaper. Except that I have almost no experience (past one metals class) welding, and no tools to do that.

Maybe I could just have them do the weld, then do the rest myself and have maaco paint it or something.

I paid $200 just for my middle big hole, professionally done. My side holes are covered as that is the wings west mid wing three piece turbo/3000gt spoilers design and why I went with it. Keep in mind, theres a lot of holes$$$

I figure I can pay to have the holes welded up, then I'll bondo, prep and primer it, then pay to have it professionally painted... hopefully that won't be over 300 dollars...

5 cents worth of electrical tape, lol. Course I was planning on repainting the entire car shortly afterwards, but then I decided performance was more fun so that's how it stays

Save yourself the agony of repairing shoddy work and get the holes filled the RIGHT way and the body work afterwards...
