Off topic but since your in FL you should ditch the front mount plate. I dont see you getting in trouble down there for NJ laws.

I'm sure they work great but those projectors look really small for your headlight housings.

about the headlights, yes they are small, and dont fill up the area but I didn't do the headlight mod for that reason. Alot of people on HID planet said it could not be done effectivley and it was an intersting concept to me to take those projectors and mount them in my car because I thought it would look badass. So I went for it. The car still has a stock like look with those projectors in it imo, rather than a bulky projector which would work more efficently, but o'well.

yes, im taking it off today and installing a fmic over the weekend hopefully

i just took out my e46 projectors and retrofitted some TSX projectors - These suckers are badass!! the range is amazing, and they have much much sharper cutoff than my e46's. Still aligning them tho. I'll probably e46 my foglights or do a quad setup, we'll see.

edit: what type of fmic are you installing?

Why get rid of the e46 werent those bi-xenon? Anywho I have been thinking alot about tsx projectors because they are absolutley amazing. How did you make out with the harness? Also, about the fmic I believe I sent you a pm about it the other day. It had an ebay link in it.

yea, the e46's are bixenon. I'm not getting rid of them, I'm gonna retro them for a quad setup, but not right now cuz i need another set of ballast. Yea, the TSX projectors are waaay better than the e46. I color modded them as well, and the cutoff is awesome. Will post pics soon. (still having trouble with harnes. I sent you another pm)

Ahh, so you bought that fmic. I want to get it too, gotta wait for some mo money tho.

i got a question, why is it called "bixenon" not like there is a "monoxenon" theyre all "bi" cuz the car has 2 lights, nobody puts in one

I just wish my car was as fast as it was loud. people tell me i should use my sub to push it, it might go faster.

Because the same projector is used for the low and high beam. When you hit the highs, the cutoff is removed.

lmao.. wow thats the first time I ever heard of someone use that definition for bi-xenon hids. Anyway I look forward to doing another retro soon hopefully with the e46s. So when some poor shmoe high beams me because the hids are so bright I can flick him with high beam hids. emoji Yup that'll be nice.. sonikbewm dont you have e46s in your bimmer or are they e55?
