hi again guys, i dont get to post much, damn search button. Anyways, im on the works of making my 95 RS onto a 97-99, i just found the full set of side skirts today for $100, my question is, do i put em on and THEN get everything painted or take the car as it is to the shop, and let them paint them and put em on?

i was thinking if they wer on, they wouldnt pain the part of the door and body that the stuff (sideskirts, turbo wing) covers. thanks for the help guys, soon my car will be decent enough to take pics of it and post it here.

P.S. also my 95 bumper has a metal bar on the bottom lip of the bumper, but its all messed up, can i just get any piece of metal and put it on the 2gb bumper as long as it fits the curvy shape?

I would ditch the metal piece. Just me.

well i prolly will too, but seems that its there for a reason, since my new bumper has the holes to put it on too, i thought that it maybe made the bottom of the bumper more rigid or something. plus it seems that it would save the bumper from scraping real easy, just a thought tho.

that metal piece is just a support for the bottom of the bumper. I replaced mine as well. Bought at the dealer for a few bucks. Don't remember how much, but wasn't a lot.

lol, I've actually been wanting to do a 95-96 front end conversion. I like the smiley bumper better, and my front bumper is messed up.

Man ain't that the truth. Basterds killed my battery when setting a new remote for the alarm, and still charged me full price.
